Interpretation / Description

Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava (Tibetan: pe ma jung ne, English: Lotus Born): considered to be one of the three principal founders of Buddhism in Tibet along with Shantirakshita and King Trisisong Detsen. (See Padmasambhava Life-story Painting).
