Interpretation / Description

Jambhala, Yellow (Tibetan: dzam bha la ser po): the most common form of the popular wealth deity, holding a bijapuraka fruit in the right hand and a mongoose in the left, seated on a lotus usually with the right foot resting on a conch shell.

Yellow Jambhala is found in both Kriya and Anuttarayoga Tantra texts, and is the principal wealth deity of the Hevajra cycle of practice.
