Interpretation / Description

Tibetan Teacher, male (Unidentified).

Wearing the patch work robes of a fully ordained monk (bhikshu), he extends the right hand across the knee in the earth witness gesture. The left hand rests in the lap in the gesture of meditation. The two legs are crossed one over the other is the vajra posture (vajrasana).

On the robes there is copper and silver inlay and the finger nails have copper inlay.
