Notes about the Central Figure

Kakyab Dorje, 15th Gyalwa Karmapa (1870/71-1921/22).
At the top center is Vajradhara Buddha with Tilopa and Naropa on the proper right and left. Slightly below is Marpa Chokyi Lodro with Milarepa on the proper right and Gampopa on the left. Below that is Jamgon Kongtrul and Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo.
At the bottom center is the meditational deity Vajrakila. At one side the mountain goddess Tseringma rides a white snow lion. On the other side Achi Chokyi Drolma rides a horse.
