Buddhist Deity: Ganapati (Nyingma Tradition)

Ganapati Iconography

The first image below, HAR 207, appears to be a Nyingma interpretation of the Atisha Tradition form with three faces and six hands engaged in erotic acts with a monkey. The Nyingma form is differentiated by the single face and the red colour of the body, accompanied by four retinue goddesses. The other images, HAR 500 and HAR 53161, are the same iconographic form depicted in two different ways.

Three of the images below belong to the Traditions:
- Chogling
- Jangter
- Namcho
