Exhibition: Mandala, The Perfect Circle | Introduction to Mandalas
One of the highlights of the exhibition Mandala: The Perfect Circle is the presence of three paintings all commissioned by the same sponsor. Lhachog Sengge (1468-1535), who commissioned these paintings, was a famous abbot of Ngor Monastery in Tibet and responsible for the creation of many works that have found their way into collections in Europe and North America.
