This page presents a selection of Buddhas from the collection of the Tsuglakang Temple in Lhasa, Tibet. Almost all are likely to be Shakyamuni Buddha except for a lone figure of Amitayus/Amitabha Buddha identified by the long-life vase in the lap.

The Buddhas here are just Buddhas as defined by the most basic of iconographic appearance - Buddha Appearance. There are no crowns or any other ornamentation such as earrings, necklaces, bracelets or anklets, that are typical of Peaceful Deity Appearance (Bodhisattva, Deva) in Buddhist Iconography. These Buddhas are just Buddhas - simple and traditional.
