Chosa Bonmo: a female teacher of the 8th century.

Peaceful in appearance and white in colour, wearing a red skirt, she holds a trident in the right hand and the left held upraised performs a meaningful gesture. A tiara adorns the head and the neck, arms and ankles are decorated with gold and jewel ornaments. In a dancing posture she stands on the left leg with the right drawn up above a sun disc and lotus blossom of red and pink petals.

The image is painted on paper and belongs to a set of initiation cards.
