Classification: Deity

Interpretation / Description

Dralha, Thirteen Enemy Gods: the thirteen Dralha surround the central Buddhist figure.

At the center of the composition is a Nyingma Tradition Heruka deity, red in colour, holding a peg in the upraised right hand and a skullcup to the heart in the left, with a katvanga staff in the bend of the elbow.

At the top center is a Heruka figure with three faces and six hands, embracing a consort. At the viewer's right is Tsogdag Lang-na - Elephant Lord of Hosts, red, with an elephant head and riding an elephant. In the right hand he holds aloft a short vajra staff and in the left a rat or mongoose. (See the Ganapati Main Page)
