Subhuti, Elder (Tibetan: rab jor, ne tan): student of the historic buddha Shakyamuni, considered to be a pre-incarnation of the Panchen Lamas. This image is from a famous set of wood block prints from Nartang Monastery, Tsang Province, Tibet.
