Tara, White (Tibetan: drol ma, kar mo. English: the White Liberator). Peaceful, with one face and two hands she performs the mudra (gesture) of generosity with the right hand extended across the knee. The left raised to the heart holds the stem of a pink lotus blossoming above the shoulder. The palms of the hands and soles of the feet are each adorned with an eye.
