Interpretation / Description

Jamyang Kyentse Wangpo (1820-1892). This composition is based on a Guruyoga practice depicting Kyentse Wangpo as a mahasiddha riding a turtle. Other famous teachers of the 19th century such as Jamgon Kongtrul, Zhalu Tankyong and Choggyur Lingpa are positioned surrounding the central figure. (See short biography and Outline Page).
