Interpretation / Description

Machig Labdron (1055-1153), 'the One Mother:' founder of the Cho Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. (See Machig Labdron Outline Page).

At the top center are the Five Symbolic Buddhas with Shakyamuni Buddha seated slightly below. On the left side is Shri Hevajra. On the right side is another Buddha.

Descending on the left side are White Tara, Padampa Sanggye and Brahmanarupa Mahakala. Descending on the right side are Yogini and the Five Dakini, and below that is Black Jambhala. At the bottom center is Arya Shmashana Adhipati, Lords of the Cemetery.
