The Bongya Monastery is located in the Chukhog Township of Rebgong (Tongren) County of Malho (Huangnan) Prefecture in Tshongon (Qinghai) Province, China. It is ranked as the largest Bon monastery in the area. The full name is Menri Shedrub Mindroling, indicating that the monastery belongs to the Menri monastic tradition founded by Nyame Sherab Gyaltsen (1356-1415).
