Interpretation / Description

Sachen Kunga Nyingpo (1092-1158): the foremost Lama of the Sakya School, 3rd throne holder of Sakya.

Sa chen kun ga nying pa Biographical Details

At the top left is Chakrasamvara according to the Krishnacharya tradition. At the top right is Rakta Yamari according to the Virupa tradition.

At the bottom left is Dharmachakra Manjushri with the hands in the teaching gesture. Seated on a lion at the center is Simhanda Avalokiteshvara. On the right is Sita Manjushri, white in colour.
