Interpretation / Description

Mandala: 5 deity, "Stupa" Vajrapani

Surrounding deities from the Drubthab Gyatsa: Vajrapani, Arapachana Manjusri, Vasudhara

Surrounding deities from the Narthang Gyatsa: Vajravarahi, Ushnishavijaya

This painting is unusual because the three deities at the top are labeled as belonging to the Drub thab gyatsa even though this painting is not next to the other paintings depicting the Drub thab gyatsa deities in this set. These deities are also not present in the typical Drubthab gyatsa list.

Furthermore, of the two Narthang gyatsa deities at the bottom, Vajravarahi is not present in the typical list.
