Interpretation / Description

Sengge, belonging to the group of 9 Drugpa Kagyu teachers known as the sengge nam gu.

At the top from left to right are Kukkuripa, Lama Shang, and Gom Tsul the nephew of Gampopa.

At the middle right is Onpo Nyima Sengge, 1251-1287 [TBRC P914]. At the bottom left is Pokyapa Sengge Rinchen, b.1242/1258, d.1297/1313 [TBRC P918]. At the bottom center is Dorje Lingpa Sengge Sherab, b.1236/1238, d.1280 [P916]. At the bottom right is Jamyang Kunga Sengge, 1314-1347 [TBRC P2635].

Again at the bottom left is the wrathful enlightened protector Chaturbhuja Mahakala, dark in colour, with one face and four arms.
