Interpretation / Description

Mayajala Namasngiti Manjushri.

This 19th century composition appears to be created post the 1826 Kathmandu publication of Amritananda titled the Dharmakosasamgraha which catalogues and discusses the images and history of Namasangiti in a one face twelve armed form. In that publication only the old style iconography is mentioned.
