At the top center is Nirmana Bhikshu (Trulpa'i Gelong) at the left side is Vasubandhu with a monastic figured named Pagpa Namdrol De seated below. These two on the left are considered early Indian teachers of the Lamrim lineage according to the Gelug school, although they are distant predecessors of the Lamrim genre as begun by Jowo Atisa. Phagpa Namdrol De wrote on the subject of 'Mind Training'.
On the right side is the monastic figure Sugata Ratna Chandra. At the lower right is a form of Tara (Tsephelje Drolma), yellow in colour, with one face and four arms according to the Suryagupta tradition.
At the bottom center is Sarvavid Vairochana Buddha, white in colour. At the left side is a male lay figure named Pagpa Ke'u Zugchen. At the right side is Trailokyavijaya Tara (Kham sum wang dze drol ma), female, orange in colour.
