Interpretation / Description

Currently lives in the Taipei Palace Museum. The museum catalogued it as Song dynasty but from comparing this to other works with similar craftsmanship such as this textile of the Vairochana Buddha, it may be more pursuasive to date the piece to be early Ming (1400) or later.
