Interpretation / Description

Unknown form of Mahakala with consort.

Three faces, six arms. Right arms hold a chakra weapon wheel, a sword and a vajra. Left arms hold a staff, pestle and a mass of flame. Consort holds a skull cup in her left hand.

The presence of garudas may indicate a terma lineage received by the Fifth Dalai Lama.
