Interpretation / Description

Sanggye Pel (1412-1485 [P1039]). He was an early Ngorpa scholar, a student of Konchog Gyaltsen 2nd abbot of Ngor Ewam. He also taught some of the most famous Ngor teachers such as Gorampa Sonam Sengge, Bumdrag Sumpa, Muchen Sanggye Rinchen and others.

At the top center is Avadhutipa with Gayadhara to the proper right side and Drogmi Lotsawa on the left. Below that is Seton Kunrig wearing monastic attire and Shangton Chobar wearing a blue garment.

At the bottom center is Yellow Jambhala. To the left is Black Jambhala. To the right is Yellow Vasudhara.
