Classification: Person
Indian Teacher Simhabhadra of the Gelug Lamrim teaching lineage.
The Tibetanized name of this Indian teacher (seng ge bzang po) is not to be confused with the later Tibetan teacher with the same name Sengge Zangpo. The Indian teacher is given the title Acarya (slob dpon) and the Tibetan teacher is titled Khenchen in the lineage holder list.
Acarya Simhabhadra's teacher is in the top left, named Vairocana (rnam snang mdzad), not to be confused with the Tibetan translator and student of Padmasambhava with the same name.
The second half of the inscription is damaged beyond legibility, but since we have the first half intact, the full inscription would have read: (lam mchog sher phyin rgyas mdzad seng bzang zhabs) (See a page of detail images).
