Interpretation / Description

Padma Karpo.

At the top center is the primordial Buddha Vajradhara. On the left is Marpa Chokyi Lodro and on the right side is a siddha-like figure. Slightly lower on the left is Milarepa. On the right is Rechungpa. At the middle left is the wrathful deity Vajrapani and on the right is Hayagriva. At the bottom center is the meditational deity Chakrasamvara and below that are four wrathful protector figures with raven-heads. These four belong to the Kakamukha system of Mahakala according to the tradition of the Drugpa Kagyus.
