Notes about the Central Figure

Classification: Person

Interpretation / Description

Unidentified siddha or yogi like figure.

With one face and two hands the siddha like figure holds in the right hand held out to the side a snake entwined staff with a half vajra adorning the top. The left hand is held at the heart in a threatening gesture and holds the stem of a flower blossoming at the left ear adorned with a lingam shaped attribute. At the left side is a bowl, possibly a skullcup. Below the siddha is a throne seat decorated at the front with a single lion seated atop a lotus blossom.
