Notes about the Central Figure
Classification: Person
Sariputra (1335-1426), the last historically recorded abbot of Bodhgaya. He was invited to teach at Pelkor Chode while it was being constructed and stayed there for a year, transmitting Vinaya teachings. Later he was invited to China, where he passed away.
