Interpretation / Description

Lakshmi. Kashmir, 8th century, grey schist stone. Approx 8 1/8"/ 21 1/2cm. Compare to similar fomerly in the Samuel Eilenberg Collection, presently in the colletion of the Metropolitan Museum.
