Interpretation / Description

Amitabha, Buddha (Tibetan: o pag me, sang gye. English: Limitless Light, Enlightened One). Red in colour, in the posture of meditation with both hands folded in the lap, he holds a black begging bowl and sits on a peacock supported throne. At the upper left corner is Padmasambhava, on the right Green Tara. At the bottom left is the bodhisattva of compassion, Avalokiteshvara, white in colour. On the right side is Vajrapani, blue in colour.
