Interpretation / Description

Amitabha, Buddha (Tibetan: o pag me, sang gye. English: the Enlightened One of Immeasurable Light). Seated at the top are Shakyamuni Buddha and Amitayus both flanked by Sakya patriarchs (Tib.: je tsun gong ma). The eight great bodhisattvas attend at the lower right and left.
