AMNH Description

Dancing Skeleton Figure (a pair, see HAR #94661). A decorative shrine object for use in a Chinese temple. The figure is dancing while holding in one hand the flayed skin of a human while in the other hand a human tongue and pair of eyeballs.

This skeleton subject, created as a decorative object, is unrelated to the Tantric Buddhist deity Shri Shmashana Adhipati (Chitipati).
