Interpretation / Description

Gautama, the Prince, (5th century B.C.) as he renounces the world by cutting off his long black hair in front of the white Vishuddha stupa reliquary structure, heavenly goddesses collect the fallen tresses. Gautama is the royal prince who became the Buddha Shakyamuni and the founder of Buddhism.
