The paintings below are from various sets of life-story paintings. Two of the sets have seven compositions each. Some sets appear to be painted by Tibetan artists for Chinese patrons. A complete set of seven paintings is found in the Palace Museum, Beijing, China.
Another composition with Manjushri at the center, surrounded by narrative vignettes, in a Chinese style is possibly from a set of paintings depicting the teachers of Sudhana from the Gandavyuha Sutra.
