The examples below depict a painting composition of narrative stories with no large figure placed at the center or off center to the axis. Each of these examples is just a single composition from a larger set where each prior or subsequent composition follows the same basic model of a large figure placed at the right or left of the center and surrounding story. The first composition, or main composition for the set of paintings will have a large central dominant image of the chief character of the narrative, or collection of narratives being depicted, such as Shakyamuni Buddha or Tonpa Shenrab.
