Four compositions from a set of twenty-three paintings depicting Shakyamuni Buddha, the two principal disciples, Shariputra and Maudgalyayana, the Sixteen Great Elders, the two attendants, Dharmatala and Hvashang, along with the Four Guardian Kings of the Directions, Vaishravana (north), Virudhaka (south), Dhritarashtra (esat) and Virupaksha (west).

The five known compositions are of the Elders Angaja, Nagasena, Kanakavatsa and Bakula.
