The University of Redlands in California organized this exhibition of Tantric art, the visual expression of a mystic religious philosphy based on ecstasy and vitality. The Tantric cult thrived in Nepal, Tibet, and China as well as India, and there are references to it in Hindu and Buddhist manuscripts as early as 600 A.D.
