Buddha Set | Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

A set of five compositions depicting the Buddhas of the Three Times along with Amitabha and Medicine Buddha. The secondary figures are the group of the Eight Great Bodhisattvas along with the Two Principal Students, the Sixteen Great Ekders, Dharmatala, Hvashang and the Four Guardian Kings.

The central subject of the painting set, Shakyamuni Buddha, is missing from the images collected here. The painting style is that of Beijing in the 18th century, either Emperor Kangxi or Qienlong.
