Vajra & Bell (Types)

There are currently only two examples below of this type of vajra scepter. There are several other examples known to exist in private collections. The largest of the examples has twenty or more dragon prongs at each end and measures approximately 12 inches in size. It has been suggested that they are a 15th century imperial Chinese production but it is more likely that they are later and possibly late 17th or 18th century.
