Each of these compositions is hung and arranged to the proper right side of the Shakyamuni Buddha painting. Each of the main elder figures looks to their proper left side towards the Buddha painting at the center of the arrangement. All of the secondary figures of meditational deities or buddhas are placed at the proper top left (viewer's right side). The human teachers, Indian and Tibetan, except for one examples, are placed on the proper right side of the composition.
