Milarepa Life Story Paintings & Sets

There are four known sets of paintings following this unique composition of nineteen paintings (19). The images below are the complete set of nineteen compositions from Stockholm, Sweden (acquired in Beijing in 1930). A second complete set is known to exist in Ladakh, India. A single first painting belonging to a third set of nineteen paintings is also known. (From the two incomplete sets of paintings a total of 34 compositions are unaccounted for).
