Dazu Grotto | Avalokiteshvara with 1000 Hands | Wheel of Life

The Dazu Grotto is not just one location but a number of sites in Sichuan Province of China. Dating from as early as the 7th century the various sites contain 75 locations and over 50,000 rock carved statues. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. There are numerous temples associated with the different sites. One of the most interesting sculpture is what is probably the worlds largest Wheel of Life depiction.
