This painting is significant because there are at least two other paintings of Gayadhara which copy it.
HAR 35621 in the British Museum is part of another Lamdre set, with one teacher in each painting. The quality of that painting , and the preservation of the Khyenri style, may suggest it was created relatively soon after this painting, possibly even by the same atelier.
HAR 60236 is a mural in Gongkar Chode College, painted much later, possibly in the 20th century.
