Interpretation / Description

Bon Refuge Field with Nyamnme Sherab Gyaltsen at the center. This was painted in Dolanji, India, in 1968 by the elderly painter Lhaso Lablo Namkha. The painting is quite bright because of the use of poster paints popular in the Tibetan communities of India from the 1960's through the 1980's. The concept, design and original drawing were done by Lobpon Tenzin Namdak.
