Interpretation / Description

Tara, Green, accompanied by the Twenty-one Taras according to the system of Atisha.

At the top center is a Gelug Lama. At the right and left sides are the Eight Great Bodhisattvas. Surrounding the central Green Tara are the twenty-one forms of Tara each with their right hand and right leg extended.

At the bottom are the Four Direction Kings with blue Vajrapani on the left and red Hayagriva on the right.
