Interpretation / Description

Amitabha, Buddha (Tibetan: o pa me, sang gye, English: the Enlightened One of Immeasurable Light). At the left side is the bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara and Vajrapani on the right. The remaining 6 bodhisattvas are in seated postures.

Various Buddhas sit on clouds in the sky along with two Nyingma Lamas wearing pandita hats. Monks and dwellings fill the foreground. At the bottom left is Green Tara and White Tara sits at the right.
