Ratnasambhava, Buddha (Tibetan: rin chen jung den, sang gye. English: the Arising of Qualities, Enlightened One). The Buddha of the southern quarter of the mandala, surrounded by numerous forms of Green and White Tara.
orange-yellow in colour with one face and two hands the right is extended across the knee in the mudra (gesture) of generosity with the palm facing outward. The left hand is placed in the lap in the the mudra of meditation. Seated in vajra posture atop a lotus cushion and horse supported throne he is surrounded by an orange and blue nimbus and a green-blue aureola.
