Interpretation / Description

Sarvavid Vairochana Mandala (Tibetan: kun rig, nam par nang dze kyil khor. English: the mandala of Vairochana of All Families) from the Parishodhana Tantra of the Yoga Classification. This composition is from a larger set of mandala paintings.

At the top left is the Buddha Shakyamuni and Vajrapani at the right. At the bottom left is a lay figure and at the right a figure wearing monastic robes and a red pandita hat.
