Interpretation / Description

Sarvavid Vairochana Mandala (Tibetan: kun rig, nam par nang dze kyil khor. English: the mandala of Vairochana of All Families) from the Parishodhana Tantra. This composition belongs to a larger set of mandala paintings.

At the top center a bodhisattva figure sits within a golden sphere of light framed by white billowing clouds.
