Interpretation / Description

Dragpa'i Pel, Gangkar Lama 1 (birth 1260 [P3694]). He was a student of Karma Pakshi and the first in the incarnation lineage of the Gangkar Lamas of the Karma Kagyu Tradition.

The Gangkar Lamas are associated with the Gangkar and Khamsum Drag Gon monasteries.
