Interpretation / Description

Jinasagara Lokeshvara.

The image in the Rinjung Lhantab collection is white in colour while the text of both the Rinchen Jungne of Taranata (1575-1635) and the Rinjung Lhantab of the 4th Panchen Lama Tenpai Nyima (1782-1853) both describe the colour of Jinasagara as red. (Rinchen Jungne, description folios 283-285).
