Interpretation / Description

Yeshe Dorje, 11th Karmapa.

In the center of the composition is Yeshe Dorje holding a wish-fulfilling jewel in his left hand. In the upper left corner upon a lotus and sun-disk is the ishtadevata Vajravarahi (Dorje Phagmo). Below is Yonge Mingyur Dorje (1628-1708), a Nyingma terton and teacher to the Karmapa. In bottom left corner is Treho Karma Guru Tuchentsal.
